Every course, one place

Online course information is scattered across many sites, each with its own layout and its own way of writing fees and descriptions. Breakpoint brings it together in one format, so before you pay you can see fee, duration, language and certificate side by side.

You can browse by skill, look at free courses on their own, and save the courses you like on your own phone.

Taking payment or enrolling you is not our job. When you press "View Course" you go to the provider's own page, and you enrol there. Our job is only to keep the information accurate, clear and up to date.

There are no paid placements today. If we ever show something for money, it will be labelled "Sponsored" and kept apart from the regular lists.

We read each provider's own public website once a day. A course whose details were checked in the last 7 days carries a ✓ Verified mark. The full method has its own page.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies in your browser and sends usage data (pages viewed, device type, approximate location) to Google. It does not identify you personally; we show no ads and do not sell data. You can block these cookies in your browser settings and the site works the same. When you press “I understand” on the notice before leaving for a provider's site, a record is kept for 365 days with the time, your IP address and browser details; the privacy policy has the full list.

We started with two providers and more are being added. There are no reviews or ratings yet — keeping the course details right comes first. If you spot a mistake, we'd be grateful to hear about it.
